No. repleno uses your smartphone camera as a barcode scanner. This works with every modern iPhone and Android device. No dedicated handheld scanner required. Supported formats include EAN-13, EAN-8, Code 128, QR codes, and more.
Yes. repleno recognizes EAN codes on manufacturer packaging and custom labels at the same time.
Easiest option: use the EAN barcodes already on manufacturer packaging. They're already there.
For custom labels: use the repleno label designer to create labels with barcodes, QR codes, bin locations, and other fields directly in the app. Pick a template, customize, print as PDF.
Many suppliers also offer a label service, e.g. Sonepar (support.sonepar.de).
