What repleno deliberately does not cover
What repleno deliberately does not cover: no ERP, no accounting, no production planning. repleno is inventory management with automatic replenishment.
repleno is inventory management: items, suppliers, storage locations, stock, bookings, orders, labels, analytics. Plus automatic replenishment if you want it. What is deliberately left out: ERP, accounting, production planning.
What repleno is not
Not an ERP system:
- No customer management
- No invoicing
- No quote creation
- No project management: no tasks, no time tracking, no scheduling. Projects with status, duration, assigned staff, and booked material are available.
Not an accounting system:
- No account assignment (assigning a booking account)
- No cost center accounting (allocating costs by department). You can book material to projects, but that does not replace cost accounting.
- No financial accounting
- No profit and loss reporting
Not a production planner:
- No scheduled production orders. Bills of materials and build bookings are available.
- No capacity planning
- No machine scheduling
Current technical limitations
Internet connection required:
- repleno currently needs Wi-Fi or mobile data for scans, lookups, and bookings.
- repleno is currently not suitable for stockrooms without a reliable connection.
Not a replacement for RFID or physical Kanban:
- repleno uses barcode and QR-code scans.
- Existing RFID or Kanban systems are not integrated or replaced.
- repleno can be used alongside them for items outside those systems. Read more: Why repleno Is Not a Kanban System.
