Access: personal login and shared device
Two ways into the system: a personal login on a work phone, or a name and PIN on a shared device in the warehouse. Which one each person gets depends on the use case.
repleno has two ways into the system. It is not an either-or for the company: you assign per person whatever fits their workday.
Personal login
For people with their own device who work independently: team leads, admins, colleagues out in the field. They sign in with their personal access, book withdrawals and goods receipts themselves, and see stock on the go too. The login belongs to the person and is granted by invitation.
Shared device
For the warehouse team at a fixed spot. A device sits in the warehouse, usually never leaves it, and serves as a pure work tool for booking and searching. Everyone signs in with their name and a PIN. Nobody needs their own smartphone or their own email address for this.
This path pays off above all when not everyone has an email address, yet you still want to trace who booked what and when.
Attribution stays
Either way, every booking belongs to a person. Even on the shared device, nobody books anonymously. Name and PIN record who made the withdrawal or goods receipt, and you can look it up in the history later.
A typical mix
Most businesses combine both: the boss and team leads on their own phone, the warehouse team on the shared device. Which one each person gets you decide by use case, not by a fixed rule.
